I have heard it over and over that religion in general is for the weak minded. In fact a famous Governor even made a comment as such. My only question is how so?
In today’s world we are bombarded with how evolution and the big bang theory for example are fact when they are just theories. We have come to accept Science as our religion because it puts us in more control and allows us to justify our actions.
Theories can only become fact when the theory has been proven to be true from every angle and there is nothing to contradict that theory. However, there has been no evidence to prove the either evolution or the big bang theory are fact. What the scientist will do is create more theories to support their original theory. I personally believe they search for stuff, find something they cannot explain, give it a name, then create a new theory to support their other theories. Then after they create this theory they wait a certain period of time then claim to have found the evidence to support their theory.
Then we have radioactive dating where people believe that when the scientists state it is 1 million years old then it must be. However, radioactive dating is flawed and has even been proven to have issues, but the scientists still use it and the people still believe it. Why you may ask? The scientists believe it because it fits their time model and people believe because then they are not accountable to a supreme being.
Secular scientists have pushed their agenda so hard that a lot of people have accepted their information as fact. So I go back to my original question how are we who believe in the Bible/Religion weak minded? We are not and it is a way for those who do not believe to try to convert those who do.
It takes great strength for a person to stand up for their beliefs among a large group of people who do not believe in that particular belief and who are constantly feeding you false information so you will change your mind. So weak minded Christians, I would say not, but rather I commend you for maintaining your belief. I pray that you find the peace and answers you are searching for and remember you are not weak minded. If you find yourself in doubt, and you might from time to time, just know that someone out there thinks you are incredibly strong.
