We live in a world where it is easy to get distracted. We have work, family, friends, and hobbies. All of these things can take your focus off the Lord.
Once you have lost your focus, it will start to wander off to what the flesh wants. This means that God will no longer be number one and He may not even be number two.
This is Satan’s goal. Satan hates it when you focus on the Lord’s. Satan has since the beginning of time tried to pry you away from the Lord by whatever means necessary. Remember, Satan’s fate is already decided and he wants you there with him.
We need to be aware of what is going on and keep our focus on the Lord. With life it sometimes becomes difficult, but that is why we all need to slow down. If we go a bit slower, we can see what is coming before we ever get tot he point that it is too late.
Learn to stand strong and resist the Devil and the fleshly temptations. I know it sounds easy, but this is probably one of the most difficult things to do. We have a tendency to equate good things with the fleshly desires, but the ways of the flesh lead to sin and sin leads to death.
We also need to remember that Christ already paid for our sins through the shedding of His blood. Just learn to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
All I can say is slow down and stay focused on Lord. Do not think for a second that partying with the Devil in Hell is going to be a great thing. In Hell, there is constant torment and suffering. You may be wondering how do I know this, well it has to do with the Bible which I believe if the word of God.
