My wife loves to watch college football, especially Virginia Tech. I personally hate it and never go out of my way to watch these games.
It is my opinion that the refs and the NCAA know who they want to win. These refs are obviously for Tennessee. A player in front of the ref is just standing there and the TN player runs in when it is all over and plows into him. The ref throws the flag and the head ref says there was no penalty when there clearly was, then they turn around and call VA Tech for the exact penalty that TN Vols just did. Common on.
When refs do this, they should be fined all the money they have made and another 1000 to 5000 depending on the infraction. Refs need to be penalized for their terrible calls. If you hit them where it hurts most, their pockets then they will start to make the right calls. I do not want to hear well that is not fair and they are only human. They know good and well what they are doing.
Most people do not care and just want the drama. So what I expect because this game, Battle at Bristol, has been so hyped is the refs to make it close. But ultimately they will male sure TN Vols win. After all they are ranked number 17 and we cannot have them lose. Since last week against App State that game was so close.
Unfortunately, the refs are serving another god called money. In the end, even for this game which really does not matter they will have to answer to God for why they lied. God sees all and He knows your actions before you do.
I pray that some refs are actually reading this blog and take into consideration how their actions on the field are really affecting their relationship with God. When you behave this way, you will have to answer for your actions.
