I just got finished watching “God is Not Dead 2”. I thought it was a good movie and it even made me tear up a bit.
Then I had a thought. Does God really need for us to stand up for Him or speak on His behalf. The answer is no.
Why then is it so important? When we are willing to sacrifice everything as He has already done, it speaks volumes. He realizes that you are not of the world but in the world and are willing to do the right thing no matter what happens. With that, He will see you through it. I think He also recognizes that you acknowledge His Son as Lord and Savior.
This process can be scary and intimidating, but I do believe that if you can stick to what you believe until the very end and actually stand up for the truth then you will be blessed. This is not prosperity type preaching, but I do believe that God will bless those who are willing to sacrifice everything for Him.
If you have not seen this movie, then I encourage you to actually take the time to watch it. I believe you will be pleasantly surprised not only by the movie, but the message the movie is trying to convey.
If you are struggling with does God exist or does God care with what is happening on the world or does God care about what is happening to you, then I urge you to stop and ask yourself this question: Am I willing to defend a God who I cannot see? If the answer is no, then why would you expect a different reaction from God?
People think that God should make the first move, but what they fail to realize is that He has already done this when He sent His Son to die on the cross or your sins. It is now you move. What will you do?
