The Truth

Why is that if when we hear something or read something by man, we almost automatically accept that what is being said is truth.  Recently, there have been debates between the Presidential Candidates.  I have not personally watch any of them as I think the debates are a joke to con the American people. They never say anything and if by the rare chance they do, it is what you want to hear.  It is never what they really believe and it is never what is best for the country.

I did hear for about a minute or so because my wife had her sound a little high Hillary Clinton talk about appointing a Supreme Court Justice that will do what is right based on how the world really works.  Never did I hear her once say that I will appoint a person who will defend the Constitution nor did I here her say she would defend the Constitution.  This has me scared.  I fully expect that if she becomes President that we will have another 8 years of dictatorship and your Constitutional Rights such as freedom on religion will go away.

We as a nation are in trouble and we accept the lies they and every other politician state.  Neither of these candidates has spoken the truth about themselves or their opponents.  Neither of them care about the truth, they care about how they and their financial supporters can make money and gain so called power.  They care about getting your vote and will say whatever it is to get that vote.

I urge those Christians to speak up.  It is time to show God that you care about what He has done for us has told us through scripture.  It is time to elect a leader that will guide us towards God not away from, because remember that no one comes to power except through God.  He and He alone appoints all leaders.  He will give us whatever leader we want even if He knows that will guide us down a path of destruction.  He did this for His chosen people when He appointed Saul as their king.  So why would we expect Him to not do this for us?

If you want to know what is the truth, then ask God through Jesus Christ.  Remember that Jesus is the truth, the life, and the way.  God will show you the truth, but be prepared to be shown or told something that you may not like.

I urge you to pray to God to seek out what God wants and the leader He wants to be in charge.  I urge you to ask God for forgiveness and to apologize with regards to how we have treated Him and His will for us when electing our leaders.  Do you apologize when necessary to people you have wronged?  Why do you think any less of apologizing to God?
