Fear Nation

Not sure how the rest of you may feel, but I feel like America is run by fear.  Some fear is good, it keeps you alive, but this is just ridiculous.  How and why did it get to this point? Personally I think it is the media and the Democratic Party.

Before you go bashing me as being a Republican, I am not.  I am a Democrat that just does not think that people are entitled.  This was how I was raised by my Democratic parents.  You work for a living to earn the money to support yourself and your family.  You do not rely upon the government for everything.

They were Democrats because they felt like the Republican Party was for big business.  What they failed to realize is that somewhere in the 60’s or 70’s, the Democrats are not really for the people.  They are for whatever flavor of the month is and they too are for big business.  It just happens that the big business the Democrats are working for are not the same as the Republicans and in fact can actually conflict with each other.

The media in this country is very powerful and can influence like none other most of the time.  Without fear or at least extreme drama, then there really is no need for the media.

The media reports what and how they want regardless of the truth.  Fox news was made to take down some false information recently about the shooting that happened in Quebec.  Imagine that.

The media thinks it has to be the first to report and has the right to report how they want or they have lost the audience.  I am a person that would much rather have the truth than some fictitious story.  However, a lot of the people in this country do not care if it is the truth, but does it fit what they thought.

Think about when a person is shot.  It does not matter what really happened, the media because of the hot topic regarding a certain style of weapon will claim that weapon was used.  You may find out later, that the weapon was not even found at the site.

I saw a report on a new channel about Trump and his anti-refugee Executive Order.  The person got on the TV and basically said it takes 36 months or so for a refugee to seek entry compared to other methods.  They also went on to say that they have to prove who they are, but that most of these refugees are children.  How does a child prove who they are?  At no time did I hear any tough questions from two individuals doing the interview such as show the metrics where you have tracked these refugees after they have entered this country and did not commit crimes or acts of terrorism.  Why did they not want to ask, my guess is they have no clue what happens to these refugees after they enter and they do not care.  They did mention without proof that this will lead people to Isis.  We already have people that are in this country that want to join Isis.  How many of them are people from other countries and how many of them are Americans?  I do not know. Does anyone?

Why did the media not take the hard road and ask really challenging questions?  They wanted this organization to look good while vilifying Trump and making people afraid of the actions he is taking.

Then we have all the extreme liberals, Left Wing Democrats, who are crying in the streets because they are afraid of what is going to happen.  This is a real fear to them.  People think that Trump and the Republican Party are going to take away every right people think they have.  For example, if Trump appoints a new judge to the Supreme Court, people are afraid that Rowe vs Wade will go away and woman will not have the right to kill their unborn children.  The Democrats prey on this fear to win elections and to get their agendas pushed through congress despite the affect it may have on the country in the long term.

People some over reacting and find out the truth.  Not what you think is the truth, but the actual truth even if it contradicts what you thought.  Also, turn your focus towards God and what God wants.  If you can do this, then the rest of this does not matter.  You will be doing what is right in God’s eye, not mans.  By turning to God and trusting God, you can rid yourself of these fears.
