Patience

Not sure that God was challenging my patience tonight, but something sure was.  I travel and normally am on the internet on my good, fast computer after I exercise and eat until bed time.

Everything was going well until about 6:15PM and then I lost internet connection using my good computer, but still had it on my old slower computer.  It was sporadic so I called the hotel service that takes care of the premium internet connections.  They guy on the other end tried his best, but no luck.  He was going to escalate this up to the next tier to see if they could resolve the issue. After everything was fixed, they were going to call me back.  Well 3.5 hours later, and it is still not working correctly and no call back.  I wanted so badly to just tell the guy to reset all the routers, but I am not sure that would have fixed the problem.

Of course I could get mad and scream, but honestly what is that going to accomplish?  I think that I am supposed to learn something from this ordeal and if I had to guess it was how to deal without having internet on my good computer to play games or whatever.

I am always thankful when God presents me with opportunities to learn patience even though it may be extremely frustrating.  I am sure I let Him down every time and I need to work on that.

Take just now, I was able to connect for a whopping 30 seconds or less and then lost it again.  I connected and immediately went to open my email program and in that short period of time it was gone again..

I just pray that this is fixed tomorrow, but if it is not, then I will have to deal.   If you too are being tested, be thankful and continue to pray to Him for help.  I know it may seem strange, but this is one of the ways God shows us He loves us.  If He did not, then would He go through this to potentially have us scream and shout His name in vain.  Just for the record, I did not do this.
