It is unfortunate, but to get anything done by companies these days is to hurt them where they feel it the most and that is in their wallets.  I have had internet issues since Wednesday around 6:15PM.  Not sure what happened at that time, but I tried to speak to the company that provides the service.  The guy tried everything.

The next day I went downstairs and told them about the issue.  The did nothing and because they can connect, there must not be any issue.

I had the same issue on Thursday and called the service again and this technician was unable to help.  However, I was able to connect for a brief period of time.  I also used my phone as a hotspot and was able to connect.

The next day, Friday, I told them that there was an issue with the connection.  They said they reset the modem and router, but if they did that did no good.  Called the service again and this time, while on the phone the technician reset two of the access points.  I connected to one access point and was immediately able to connect to different sites.  When the access points came back up, I could no longer connect.

Well about and hour or so after the phone call, I was able to connect for roughly 20 minutes.  I lost connection for about 5 and was on for about 90 minutes, then lost connection again.   My guess is that someone came in and has screwed up the internet connection,  Again I decided to test my computer and used the phone and even walked over to a sister hotel to see if I could connect.  Guess what, I was able to connect immediately without issue.

So while I do not want to pack everything up, unless they fix this issue I am checking out of this hotel and into the other.  I am very frustrated, but have managed to keep my cool.  I expect these people to listen, but unless you decide drastic measures, they do not listen.

I was even told by the hotel clerks that they have been having internet issues for sometime now.  Why make your customers suffer?  Just fix the dang system and be done with it.

I am just thankful that God was with me during all of this to keep reminding me to be level headed and to keep my cool.  He has helped me deal with this issue even though my wife may think otherwise.  I needed to vent and she heard most of my frustration.  Although I will say I did not think it was that bad. Just pray for me to be patient.
