Whatever you want to call this type of person, complainer, whiner, moaner, crybaby, grumbler, faultfinder, grump, bellyacher, troublemaker, etc., do you know one? If not then you do now. I at times can be a bit of a complainer/whiner, but why?
Is it for attention, because we did not get what we want, to remove responsibility, to inspire envy, to get power, or to provide an excuse for poor performance. I am not sure why I complain, but if I had to guess it is for attention and because I did not get what I wanted. Whatever the reason, it really needs to stop; however that is not as easy at it sounds.
Lets be honest, do you really like being around a person that complains a lot? If I had to guess the answer is no. I have had played games with a lot of people, but for some reason they all stop. Is it them or is it me? I think it is me and my attitude.
To break this bad habit, I need to be aware of what I am doing and have a positive attitude, I need to learn to adapt, take responsibility for my actions, be more mindful of those around me, be less judgmental, determine what my needs are and find a away to convey that information. More importantly, I need to turn to God to ask Him for forgiveness and help

Lord, please help me and anyone else that is like me to get rid of this complaining type attitude. If things do not go our way, help us to learn to cope and just accept. Complaining does no one any good and in the end it will only hurt when trying to make disciples.
