When Woman’s Suffrage Movement was part of the Woman’s Right Movement. Woman for some reason have been treated poorly and they still to a certain degree. For whatever reason, woman are looked down on in those jobs/careers that were typically and still are held by men for the most part.
It my belief that no matter what, a woman should receive equal compensation based on education and experience when compared to a man. That is not the norm in today’s world although it is slowly changing. However, woman seem to have taken this equality a little too far in some instances.
What started out as a movement for obtaining rights comparable to any man has now turned into something most woman should be ashamed of. Today, woman think it is okay to belittle, humiliate, mentally abuse, and physically abuse men. I am here to tell you that is not acceptable.
There is a thing called the golden rule, do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Do you know where this comes from? The Bible
Matthew 7:12 New International Version (NIV)
12 So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
So if we are to live by this golden rule, then why do so many of us completely ignore it? I just find it ironic that woman wanted equality, in that they wanted to be treated the same as a man, but have not gone way overboard and in a lot of cases they do the exact opposite.
What I am most concerned about is a growing trend of women who think it is okay to hit men. I was raised that I should never hit a woman, but that was in the days when a woman did not typically hit men. What happened, why do today’s women think it is okay or even acceptable to punch men in the face?
I saw an episode where Whoopi Goldberg said that Chivalry is gone and that if any woman hits a man, then she should expect to get hit back. She even went as far as to say a woman should never hit a man. Her co-hosts disagreed with her and even stated that a man should never hit a woman under any circumstances. What I did not hear from any of the other woman was that it is wrong for a woman to hit a man.
So why aren’t we condemning this type of violence from women? There is a movement going on that is to make every man feel as though he is stupid compared to a woman, incapable of existence without a woman, incompetent without a woman or in other words we are inferior in every way shape or form compared to a woman. This just is not true.
I understand that woman are frustrated, but what I have seen is that some men are attacking back. In other words woman if you verbally abuse a man you get it back and worse. If you attack a man you are getting it back in levels and with such devastation that you cannot understand. A lot of men are just sick and tired of being treated like crap and they are responding in highly negative ways.
I am so thankful I have a wife that does not act this way. While we are not perfect in our relationship, we are far better than many of our friends. My wife does not try to make me feel as though I could not exist if she were not in my life. It is my opinion that we compliment each other pretty well.
This is mostly for the women out there, why do you treat men the way you do? We like you are God’s children. I am asking the women out there to really evaluate their lives with regard to how they treat the man/men in their life. You may need to seek God for advice and help.
Please do not think that women are solely to blame, they are not. Men are just as guilty and they too need to evaluate their lives with regards to how they are treating the woman/women in their life.
