I love the TV show Supernatural, but I have always been a Science Fiction and Fantasy type person. I know that I really should not be watching the show, but I find it interesting.
I told my Daughter long before I got to the episode where they revealed who God was, that this person would end up being God in the show. Sure enough, it is who I thought it was.
The biggest issue with the show is how they treat God and portray Angels and Demons. They make it seem like God does not care, He does not love anyone, and at times He has no clue as though He is not omniscient . They make it seem like God needs help as though He is not omnipotent. They also make it seem like God can only be in one place at a time as though He is not omnipresent. Nothing could be further from the truth.
If you watch this show you could easily be deceived into thinking this is how God really is. So you need to be really careful of the direction of influence and take the TV show as pure fantasy. If you cannot handle that, then I highly urge you to not watch this show.
Then you have the Angels and Demons. Lucifer was trapped for eons, but the Bible never says this. It says that Lucifer was he most beautiful of all the Angels and as such He is very charming and very hard to resist. Demons are not your friends, but will appear friendly only to take everything in the end. Demons will not sacrifice themselves for you, but instead ask you to sacrifice yourself for them. Demons are not here to guide us towards God, but away from Him. Angels are not vengeful entities who are out for their own personal gain. Angels are here to guide, protect, encourage, and strengthen us. Angels are doing God’s will and as such are praising and glorifying God and they are trying to get us to do the same.
If God did not care, then why would He send His Son to be the ultimate sacrificial lamb. Jesus died for my sins and yours. It is there for us to take and all we need to do is follow what He said. Simple right? Not really otherwise the following verse would not have been said:

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
So while Supernatural is a cool show, you need to understand who God is, who the Angels are, and who the Demons are. Do not be influenced, but rather take it as nothing more than a TV show with a really warped incorrect view of the Spiritual World.
I pray that you do not believe Supernatural’s portrayal of the Spiritual or Supernatural World as being truth, but a work of pure fiction. I also pray that if you cannot handle this type of show, that you just stop watching it.
