Integrity

What is integrity?

Definition of integrity

1 : firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values : incorruptibility
2 : an unimpaired condition : soundness
3 : the quality or state of being complete or undivided : completeness
Do you have integrity?  I know I would like to think I do, but sometimes I wonder.  Lets take a look at completeness or soundness.  Are we unimpaired or complete?  I would venture to say no.  Some of us my be incorruptible, but I am not sure that is even true.  So to be blunt, none of us have absolute integrity.  Sure we may have some, but we all have sinned and fall of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23-24 New International Version (NIV)

23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

Now there is one who had integrity from the time He was born until His death?  That was Jesus Christ.  I only use that time, because He lived as a man and was tempted maybe even more so just like man is everyday.  However, Jesus never gave into the temptations.

Why do I bring this up?  That is a good question.  It is mostly to show each of us how broken we really are.  Some may be a little more strong willed than others, but each of us needs God to make us complete.  We need Jesus to help make us incorruptible and to make us sound.

Jesus has provided us the answers to all of our questions and it is up to us to live according to His commands,  Will you make the choice to follow Christ or continue to live according to the flesh and follow Satan?  The choice is , has, and always will be yours.  It is time to choose wisely.
