Why must people exploit others for their own personnel gain?
Do you know what exploitation is?
- The action or fact of treating someone unfairly in order to benefit from their work.
- The fact of making use of a situation to gain unfair advantage for oneself.
I realize that we live by and are controlled by our flesh, and that Satan is there to turn us against God at every opportunity, but that still does not explain why people try to take advantage of others.
My mom was exploited by some very clever con artists. I am not sure how much money she lost, but it was in the thousands if my memory serves me correctly, but it was not over 5k. This with a bunch of other stuff is why I hate people. My first instinct was to go crush and destroy, but who does that really hurt in the end?
Everything we do is a choice. So we are choosing to hurt others by taking advantage of them at every opportunity and I just do not understand that. It boggles my mind how people can deliberately hurt others.
Is the lure of power and money so great that people cannot resist it? Do they not realize that all of that is only temporary? What you leave behind will speak volumes about who you were as a person.
If you have raised your kids right and been faithful in your marriage, tried to obey Christ and follow His commands, and try to live as God has outlined in the Bible, isn’t that much greater than wealth and power? I would have to say yes.
Do not get me wrong, it is not always about doing the right thing every second as I think that is impossible. It is what you do as soon as you realize that you have made a mistake and sinned. Do you confess with your mouth that you have sinned and repent?
There are sins that I have committed and have confessed, but I have not repented. One of those is anger. God has told me through Christ that I am to love everyone as though I love myself, but I have not done this. In fact, I have done the exact opposite.
I am not perfect and you will never hear me say that I am. The one thing I do not do is take advantage of others for my own personnel gain. If you are wondering if this is worse sin than say coveting, the answer is no. Sin is sin and God does not really weigh one versus the other but with a few exceptions. One of those exceptions is gossip.
Are you a sinner? Do you exploit others? Now is the time to confess and repent for you never know when it may be too late.
