People say that the church is dead or it is dying. They even say Christianity is dying and will not be around in 50 or even 100 years. As a Christian, I have to say do not be fooled by these statements and judge for yourself if you think the church is dying or dead. Never take a persons word for it but analyze the information yourself. There have been plenty of people who have set out to disprove Christ only to end up believing.
Malachi 3:13-18 New International Version (NIV)
Israel Speaks Arrogantly Against God
13 “You have spoken arrogantly against me,” says the Lord.
“Yet you ask, ‘What have we said against you?’
14 “You have said, ‘It is futile to serve God. What do we gain by carrying out his requirements and going about like mourners before the Lord Almighty? 15 But now we call the arrogant blessed. Certainly evildoers prosper, and even when they put God to the test, they get away with it.’”
The Faithful Remnant
16 Then those who feared the Lord talked with each other, and the Lord listened and heard. A scroll of remembrance was written in his presence concerning those who feared the Lord and honored his name.
17 “On the day when I act,” says the Lord Almighty, “they will be my treasured possession. I will spare them, just as a father has compassion and spares his son who serves him. 18 And you will again see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between those who serve God and those who do not.
People act like this is the first time the a person or group has spoke against the Lord or declared that the church is dying or dead.
Then we have this verse:

Faith in the Incarnate Son of God
5 Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. 2 This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. 3 In fact, this is love for God: to keep his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, 4 for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
and
2 Corinthians 4:7-9 New International Version (NIV)
7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. 8 We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed.
The church is not defeated, but has already won. You must decide if you believe this or not.
I am begging you to read the Bible before you start to believe those that you think are correct. The greatest gift my parents gave me was the gift to question. They always told me to not just accept what someone has said or written as fact, but to question that information.
People think that Bill Nye is correct in his understanding of the universe, but he forgets one thing, there is no evidence to support evolution. In fact it is not considered to be truth or fact, but it is still a theory. Bill Nye has claimed in one of his interviews that Creationism will be dead in a few centuries. Does he really think this is a new concept? I invite Bill Nye to read the Bible, all of it not just the parts he thinks are worthy, but I can guarantee he will not because if he did he just might change his mind.
People think that God will force them to believe in Him. They do not understand the concept of free will. They think He will accept them as they are, but he will not and has even stated so in His book. God is slow to anger, but He even has limitations. I am just thankful that He has not cast me aside yet.
People theses days do accept false gods in the form of fame, power, material possessions, and money. They think with those things they will be happy forever and for a time that might be true. However, in the end they almost always regret their decisions.
I pray that you hear Gods word and open you heart to accept what he has planned for you and accept that the church is not dead.
