I know I mentioned influence yesterday and this goes along with that.
You have a choice, be a follower or a leader. So many of us are followers, but whom are you following?
You can follow the world and Satan or you can follow Jesus, but you cannot do both. I think this is where the problem lies. People think they can follow Satan and Jesus. The problem with that is, is that they have different objectives. Satan is trying to get you to stop obeying God while Jesus is trying to get you to follow God.
Satan will promise you things that are directly opposed to God, bt they sound spectacular. There is a reason for this and that is so you will spend eternity with him in the Lake of FIre being tormented forever.
God did not create Hell or the Lake of Fire for us. He created it for Satan and his followers. When Adam sinned, he basically condemned all of us. So God sent His son to die for mine and your sins so that we could be saved and spend eternity in Heaven. All we have to do is accept this sacrifice and then follow Jesus.
The question here is which one will you follow? Which one will you be influenced by? Who will you influence others to follow?
