I came across a post the other day where an employee was mad at customers who were upset with their companies service. I will agree that customers could be a little more forgiving during this time, but they do have a right to be upset when expectations are not met.
The employee was condemning all the customers who were upset with their service because he was endangering his life everyday and could not stay home with his family as well as a few other reasons. This employee also made a very general statement about the customers which upset me.
What the employee forgot is that all of the customers this person was complaining about are the ones who are paying their salary. My suggestion is be thankful that you still have a job, be thankful that you can serve others who might need your service, be thankful in general.
God tells us to be thankful in all circumstances.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 New Living Translation (NLT)
18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
Notice God did not say be thankful when you want or if this happens or that. To me people who are complaining about working or who are complaining about customers who are upset are some of the most ungrateful people on the face of the planet. Do your job or quit, but stop complaining. Better yet, just be thankful.
I pray that all those employees who still have a job and are complaining wake up and realize that they should be thankful that they can still pay their rent/mortgage, eat food, buy stuff, pay for utilities, etc. I realize this is a difficult and unprecedented time and if you are having a hard time being thankful/grateful, then I urge you to pray and ask God for help.
