Understand this, the requirement to wear a mask to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 and save lives is false and is based on really bad science. Just go look up how it was determined that a mask would save lives, it was based on using a wet cloth. Several scientists have questioned the validity of the research and even a lawyer admitted that it was not good science, but said that in times like this, that good science can not always be used. Say what?
Since the beginning of all of this, I have not worn a mask and do not have Covid-19. I go into a store, pickup what I need, and leave. I do not congregate in stores like I see so many doing.
You may say why aren’t you wearing your mask, aren’t you supposed to obey the government as long as it does not go against God? The answer to that is yes (Romans 13:1-2) I should be wearing a mask, but I do not respond to fear mongering. If I really thought this would save lives, I would wear one. However, I have yet to see a legitimate scientific study.
So why do I say it is all about control:
- The Democrats, CDC, WHO, Dr. Fauci, Surgeon General, the media, and other country and world leaders do not like Trump and they want to see him removed from office because they cannot control him.
- The Democrats and others want the economy to collapse so right before and after the election in November they can say hey look at us, we saved the economy from total collapse and if we had followed Trump we would be in a recession if not a depression. Then watch how quickly this pandemic disappears from the media.
- If we use fear and false numbers that can never be verified to say wearing masks could save thousands, then we will have the masses scared and on our side. With the masses on our side, then we can do whatever we want because we will be seen as heroes. Even if this means taking away all your civil rights.
- When Trump shutdown travel from China he was called a racist by the media and Democrats, then a few months later, he was criticized for not shutting down the borders fast enough. So which is it? This is just another tactic to try to control the election in November.
So lets talk about each type of mask:
- Cotton cloth masks do not work on basic vapors unless they are wet like you are told to use when smoke is present. With forceful exhalation such as a sneeze or cough, even wet cloth masks are useless. Because of the large pores, you are more likely to spread the virus since is will be projected out at more of an angle. Additionally, it provides a false sense of security and people think they are safe from catching this or any virus.
- Polymer masks such as biker masks are much like cotton cloth masks except they really do not work when wet because they are hydrophobic and do not retain water.
- Surgical masks are loose fitting PPE devices designed to prevent infections in patients and treating personnel by catching bacteria shed in large liquid droplets and aerosols from the wearer’s mouth and nose that is directly in front of them, but these droplets will still escape around the mask. Vapor such as breath will take the path of least resistance to escape it is current environment. They are designed to prevent large bodily fluids from entering the mouth or nose of the healthcare professional. They are not designed to withstand sneezing and/or cough vapors which can render the PPE useless. They are also not designed to protect the wearer from breathing in or exhaling airborne bacteria or viruses whose particles are smaller than the mask pores.
- N95 masks and respirators are a bit more complicated. They can be very effective, but must fitted correctly and form a tight fitting barrier around the mouth and nose so the only place for the breath to escape is through the mask. People with facial hair render the PPE almost useless.
- Then we have our governor who can go out in public while telling everyone else they have to wear a mask. He even stopped to take pictures with people. If he was that worried shouldn’t he have said something like ” I would really like to take pictures with you, but I did not wear a mask and feel it would be hypocritical of me in this situation. I hope you understand my decision.” Does he say something like that, heck no, he stops and poses with a lot of people. So not only did he make fun of the Black community through his Black Face antics, but now he is being a hypocrite.
- Then we have all the protesters and rioters. It is okay for them to gather in masses because they are upset, but the rest of us cannot have graduation celebrations, parties, funerals, etc., because we might spread the virus. Another hypocritical move by Democratic governors. However, when Trump wants to open the states back up for economic reasons, the answer from all of those governors is a resounding NO.
- I saw most recently that all of these cities that let protesters destroy and steal, now want federal aide because there city is basically destroyed. Excuse me, you let these people destroy your city so deal with the consequences of your actions, but do the no. Instead they are mad at Trump yet again.
Best advice for stopping the transmission of any virus:
- Eat healthy
- Drink plenty of fluids
- Exercise
- Try to increase your lung capacity
- Keep your distance
- Wash your hands
- Do not touch your mouth, nose, or eyes
- If you are experiencing any symptoms of an illness, stay home and take care of yourself
I am not hear to tell you what to do or not to do. You have to decide for yourself what is the best course of action. As for me and my family, we will trust in the Lord and be not afraid (Isaiah 12:2).
As I was writing this blog trying ti discourage people from blindly obeying the government without questioning their motives, Romans 13:1 and 2 reminded it me that it is not what I think, but the fact that God put my governor whom I despise in power. So while I do not agree with the governor at all on any subject, I will wear a mask because wearing a mask does not go directly against God. The only time we are to disobey man’s law is when it is morally wrong in God’s sight.
