What can mere mortals do to me?
All of these verses deal with that God is there for you. Man can and will fail you at times, but God never will.
No matter what happens on earth due to the Devil and his interaction with man to cause them to fail you, God is there with you through it all . It does not mean you will not suffer, but He will be there with you to help you through the suffering.
If you are having problems with your fellow man and feel like you are being let down or that there is no one there for you, just remember that God loves you and is there. Just have some faith. Talk to Him and ask for help, He will help. He may let you suffer for a bit, but He will not give you anything more than you can handle and when you have reached your point, pray.
