Is evolution real? Is evolution mentioned in the Bible?
The answer to both is no and no. You may be asking how can I say no to evolution. Evolution is just a theory that was started by Charles Darwin, but the secular scientists of today and the American education system treat it as though it is fact. They do not allow the teaching of Creationism because there is no proof or we would have to accept a religion which according the government goes against the Constitution (I will get into this one in another post). Yet there is no evidence to support evolutionary theory. Yes they make strong arguments, but that is all. Where is the actual physical evidence? It does not exist.
Biochemist say that the biochemistry of all living things on earth is very similar showing that they shared a common ancestry, but this is a large leap. Just because things share similar biochemistry does not mean they evolved from one thing.
Then there is comparative anatomy that states that different living things have comparatively similar skeletons. Therefore they must have evolved from a common ancestor. Again this is a giant leap and again just because things may have similar structures does not mean they came from one ancestor.
Scientist who study biogeography state that you would expect groups of organisms that are related to one another to be clustered near one another because they come from the same common ancestor. Yet there would be no reason for related groups of organisms to be found near one another if evolution was not real. What? Just because I find similar groups together automatically supports evolution? I think not. First off what types of organisms are we referring too? Two what similarities do they posses and are there any other groups which might have those same similarities that were located in other areas of the world? Is it not possible that those organisms which have similar traits already had those traits and simply adapted to their environment?
Molecular biologist have compared gene sequences among species and revealed that they are similar. Again just because something is similar does not mean it comes from one ancestor.
Paleontologist would have you believe that based on the fossil records they can demonstrate that living things have changed through time. How so? How can you believe they even constructed the fossils correctly when in fact there have been several reported instances where they had to correct their mistakes due to new findings. People will say that the Bible does not mention dinosaurs. It may not use that word, but look in Job 40 about the Behemoth or Job 41 about the Leviathan.
Current biologist would have us believe that the antibiotic resistant bacteria we are seeing today is due to evolution. But what if that trait was already present in the bacteria from the very beginning of time and just simply adapted to its new environment. Adaptation is where the population already possesses that trait and through a series of variations will thrive in that new environment. Evolution is where something changes in the heritable traits of biological populations over time. Therefore, adaptation is not evolution.
There is Radioisotope dating which indicates that the Earth is 4.5 billion years old based on the radioactive decay of a parent isotope to a daughter isotope. However, there are problems with this method such as no one was present when the rocks were first formed to know their contents such as were there daughter isotopes already present. Today there are rocks that formed due to lava flows that are less than 50 years old yet there age by radioisotope dating indicate it is 3.5 million years old. Furthermore, depending on what isotope you wanted to use, you will get different results. How can this be? Were the rock samples contaminate? The rocks are exposed to the elements and could therefore gain or lose both the parent and daughter isotopes. Finally, no one knows how fast the radioactive decay actually is. The secular scientist assume the rate of decay is constant because it has not changed for about 100 years. But what if some elements speed up at some point in time? Take the New Mexico case where granite yielded a uranium-lead age of 1.5 billion years, but the same uranium decay only produced about 6,000 years worth of helium. This means that uranium decay must have sped up as time went on.
The ones above are just a few ways that secular scientists use to support evolution. All of the ones that are through paleontology, biology, biogeography, anatomy, physiology, or biochemistry say that they share similar traits which supports evolution because they must have come from a common ancestor. I say this is a giant leap for man to try to explain his existence here on Earth due to the fact that they reject creationism.
Evolution is as much a religion as Christianity. Where is the evolutionary facts of today? With all the information that has been obtained for the last 100+ years there must be something that 100% confirms that evolution is real. Has man changed in the past 4000 years? Is that enough time to start a new human race? If so where is the evolved human? Evolutionist cannot because the data does not exist. God created all things, therefore is it not possible He could have given everything on the planet similar DNA with the ability to adapt to their ever changing environment?
