I heard something on the radio today that mentioned Christian Attitude and how bad it is. We live in a nation where we as Christians expect everyone to behave as we think they should behave. The problem with that is it is completely wrong.
We have a nation where there are so many other people from other countries and cultures that it is unrealistic to think they are all going to behave as we think a Christian should behave. Here is a novel idea, why don’t each of us who are Christian act the way Christ has showed and told us to act. I am just as guilty of this as anyone else.
Then let our example be an inspiration for them to act the same way. However, even if they chose to still act in a away that we do not agree with, then we need to take the next step which is to love them no matter what.
If you think about the Bible, God told us how to live in the Old Testament, but He knew that would be difficult for any of us to do. So He sent His son to show us how to live and then later Christ told us what we are to do.
After Christ lived His life, He died for my sins so that I have a chance at salvation. All I have to do is accept Christ as my Lord and Savior, confess my sins, acknowledge that He is the son of God, that died on the cross for me, and was risen and then ascended into Heaven to sit at the right hand of God until He returns.
If each of us can do that then we will be reborn and hopefully our bad Christian Attitude will disappear. However, here is the real issue, do you want to change your attitude? My guess is that most of us do not see anything wrong with their attitude and therefore will not change, but this goes against what Christ taught. Do you want to go against Christ?
