Why do men think that women are docile beings? Beats the heck out of me and this post is not meant to make any woman mad. Most of the women I know are anything but. I do believe that a man if they are married should be the head of the household, but that does not mean we are to make every decision without seeking guidance from the other half of the marriage.
If God created Adam in his image and we are all descendants of Adam, then we were all created in the image of God. That means woman was also created in Gods image. Does that mean we all got the same parts from the Lord, I do not think so. I think that is where gifts come in.
I will say that I believe all woman want that knight in shining armor, they want that cowboy, they want that bad boy, they want the hero, the protector, and they want that person in their life that is adventuresome. A woman is highly territorial and will not only defend her young but her other loved ones at all costs. When something has happened to me or one of our kids, my wife is ready to jump in and take the person or whatever it is out so to speak. However, there is one thing that woman are not, and that is docile and as husbands we should not expect them to be.
As husbands, we should encourage our wives to take on the world and we should be doing the same with our daughters, but be there just in case they need a shoulder to cry on or a person to talk too. I do not care what a woman says, most and I mean most are very emotional under a lot of situations. I do not believe they handle stress as well as they think they do or at least they handle it a lot differently than most men.
I know a lot of woman will cry your a male chauvinist pig or they will start to chant feminism. Give me a break. I am sorry but man and woman are not the same and as a society we should not expect them to be the same, but should embrace their differences. Each of us has a lot to contribute to society and throughout history, it has been the woman who has done the most. We as men should understand their importance in our life and society and respect them for what they have done. We are all equal in Gods sight
If you are, I mean man, having trouble accepting a woman as an equal or expect them to cater to your every need or to be a docile creature, then I urge you to seek help from God. I pray that you are able to recognize how important the woman in your life truly is. I also pray that you are able to give up your male superiority attitude and accept them as an equal partner in your marriage. In Jesus name I ask for this, Amen!
