Does your wife know

I know I have at least one person that reads these posts which is good.  I found out last night that my wife actually reads each of these posts and if I understood her correctly, she is actually excited when there is a new post.  She said that is gives her insight into who I am.

She thought about using some of the information I have posted to help others, but she was worried that if she did, then others might be able to figure who is the author because I have a very distinct writing style and have voiced similar opinions in public.  I told her not to worry about if they figure it out that I am the author and that she has to do what she thinks is best according to the direction the Lord is guiding her.

I am not writing these posts for man, but because I feel like the Lord wants me to so I can fulfill my part of the Great Commission in trying to reach mankind.  It would be better for me to get out there into the world, but that is a bit difficult at times.

The Lord can use anything to His glory and I feel that He can use all of the information I have posted on this site to help that one person who is  struggling.  We all struggle from time to time and sure we can rely upon ourselves and our fellow man, or we can rely upon Christ and God.  Which do you think is the better choice?

I know the title says “Does your wife know” and that makes it sound a bit mysterious as though I or someone else may have done something wrong.  If that was you, then shame on you for going that direction to begin with.  Yes it was on purpose to see where your thoughts would go.

My reason for titling it that way besides the reaction you may or may not have had, was to let you know that your spouse and other loved ones can be of great support when you are doing something, anything.  My wife did not want to really let me know for fear that I may change my writing style.  I told her that I would not and as much as possible I will not.

I pray that when you take on challenges that are new or may at times seem scary, that you get all the support you need.  However, even if man rejects everything you are doing, God will guide you like He has done with so many others if it is for the right purpose.  In other words, go to God first and ask for help.
