Now before all you people flip out about the title, God is not evil. However, I wanted to get your attention and I hope I did. God is love and the sooner we come to understand and accept that, the better off we are
People think that God is not loving or He is evil because He does not grant their every wish or He appears to let bad things happen or if He loves me He will accept me as I am and the list goes on and on. Furthermore, people question why God allowed the angels to rebel and man to fall claiming that if He is all powerful He would not allow this to happen.
All I have to say is what a crock of crap and please cry me a river. I know that might not be politically correct, but I do not care. People need to get over themselves and open their eyes and hearts before it is too late.
God cannot be in the presence of sin, which is anything that goes against His will. We need to accept that and move. Once we understand that, I really believe that the rest will quickly fall into place. However, people want to keep their sins and they want God to accept them. Wow!
God created us to have free will as part of that free will, we decided to disobey God and eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. We at an early age in our existence decided to listen to Satan and believe him versus God, and we have continued to believe Satan versus God for the most part. Of course this is not 100% true, but it is one of the reasons why a few will enter the gate.
Matthew 7:13-14New International Version (NIV)
The Narrow and Wide Gates
13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
If God wanted robots, He could have created us to be just that, obedient slaves that never question anything or disobey orders. However, why would God create such a being as it proves nothing, but if we choose to love and obey God, then that truly means something.
You have a choice to accept what God is saying as truth or what Satan is saying, but you cannot believe both. You have the choice to obey God or not. You have the choice to accept that God is love and that He loves you. You have the choice to accept that God cannot be in the presence of sin or not. You have the choice to believe that God sent His son to die for you on the cross. You have to choice to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. You have the choice, but remember, there are consequences for your choices.
