People tend to think of the Lord as their pal, bud, friend, but not as their creator. Why?
Is it fear that if they acknowledge a creator, then the Bible may be true, which will mean they are accountable for their actions? News flash, there is a creator, the Bible is His word, and you will be held accountable for your actions.
I realize the world tries to downplay God, but do you honestly believe that we all spawned from some primordial soup? The more you look around, the more you should realize that there is a higher power.
We all need to realize the God is our Father, Lord and Savior, and Creator. We all need to treat Him with the respect that He deserves.
I know it is tough when it is based on faith alone and God acts in little subtle ways that we do not really understand and are to self-absorbed to even see. Compare that to the Devil who puts on a big production to show you what he can do just prove that he is superior. Now ask yourself why?
