We should do our due diligence and elect a president, but honestly God will put into authority whom He wants. It may be weird that God who loves us would place an evil leader into that position, but is it really?
Honestly, I do not find it weird. I expect it, but apparently others do not. When the people of a nation turn their backs on God and want to do things their way or reject God who has said from the beginning that He cannot be around sin, is it any wonder why we have the leaders we do have. We have become a godless nation. We think man is more important than God.
Romans 13:1 New International Version (NIV)
Submission to Governing Authorities
13 Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.
When we feared God and did as God commanded, we were a much stronger and prosperous country. This year, 2016, we have two candidates who in my opinion are evil. No matter which one wins, the country will be on a landslide from which I do not think it can recover.
Trump is in it so he can have another notch on his belt or to beef up his resume. I believe he will run it like every other business he has owned and ultimately the people of the country will suffer. There are a lot of predictions I could make, but I do not know the future. We will just have to wait and see if he wins
Clinton is a criminal and should be getting ready to go to trial. She had and allowed others to see top secret information through her personal email server. If that had been anyone else, there would be a trial in the not to distant future. My opinion is that she and/or Bill me with and offered/did something to convince the Attorney General to not press charges. What the Attorney General promised or did so that the FBI did not recommend prosecution is beyond me. My guess is that it would have thrown the election process into turmoil because the Democratic party has back Clinton. By her going to trial, it could have potentially swung the favor in Trumps direction, but I do not think so. Trump would not have an absolute victory because the US Citizens do not seem to really care. They would vote a dead person to office if they had the chance.
No matter who wins, the majority of us deserve whatever leader we get because of how we have treated God. My suggestion is that as a supposedly Christian nation, we need to get down on our hands and knees and ask God for forgiveness and to provide us with a leader who loves and fears the Lord.
