I have been reading a devotional by Rick Warren about spiritual warfare. It is an interesting read and if you get the chance I highly recommend that you take the 37 or so days to read and understand what is being said.
It does not matter if you believe it or not, but each of us is under constant attack by Satan and his demons to sin, doubt, hate, lie, commit crimes, etc. Many of you will say that you are saved and that is great, but that does not mean that you cannot be attacked by or even influenced by Satan and his Demons.
Why mention this again as I have already mentioned something like this before? Well we all need help. The world seems to have gone crazy. We all want to blame God, but God is not to blame, Satan is. Hopefully, by reminding you, you will take the time to read up on Spiritual Warfare.
Some will say that God does not love us and they state what is happening, but that is just not true. Would a God who does not love us have sent His son, Jesus, to die for our sins so that we have a way to spend eternity with both God and Jesus? The answer is no an unloving God would not have sent His son, but would expect us to find a way on our own.
Sure God could have programmed us like robots to love Him, but what would that have accomplished? Nothing. By giving us free-will and allowing us to choose to love Him and obey what He says is completely different. What and who do you love?
So the next time you are under attack and you feel like something is wrong or you feel like blaming God, take a deep breath and a time-out to evaluate the situation. The reason that you are being attacked is because Satan is scared that you love and trust God and that you want a relationship with God. Remember, Satan is trying everything he can to make sure that you spend eternity with him and his demons.
I pray that God will help you to see and understand that spiritual attacks and warfare do occur and are real.
