Trust the Lord

I know that it seems hard at times to trust the Lord, but think about it, who would want you to turn away from the Lord?  The answer is Satan.  While the Lord has ultimate control, it seems as though people forget that for a season (however long that is), Satan is the ruler of earth.

Yes there is death, famine, disease, hatred, anger, distrust, etc., but this not Gods fault.  God created man and in turn man decided with the help of Satan that he should be equal to God.  Since that time, every person on this planet has been cursed.

God could have wiped us out at any time and almost did back in he days of Noah.  Noah trusted the Lord and in return, the Lord allowed Noah and his offspring and all of their wives to survive and to repopulate the planet.

If you are experiencing problems in your life, I want you to take a deep breath and ask yourself this one question:  Have I truly trusted the Lord enough to let him have my problems?

Does this mean the problem(s) will go away?  No, but it could.  God let His Son die for all of us on the cross so that we could have eternal life.  Do you really think you are better than Jesus?  What it does mean is that God will only give you what you can handle.

1 Corinthians 10:13 New International Version (NIV)

13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

So trust the Lord and look at all of your problems as growing stronger in the Lord, instead of going “woe is me”.  The Lord loves you and wants to help, but He will also respect your decision if you do not want His help.  The choice is yours, what will you decide to do?

I pray that you are able to trust the Lord and let him have your problems,  He wants us to come to Him, so come.  Let the Lord into your heart so He can begin to transform you into a new person.

May God bless you.
