Several states have and no my state is getting ready to introduce what is called the Red Flag Law. It completely violates the constitution. It violates the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 14th ammendments.
I understand that these governments/people are trying to protect the innocent, but they are doing more harm than good.
The Red Flag Laws allows the government to take weapons if someone simply complains and states that a person is a threat to themselves or someone else. It completely side steps the constitution.
Look I am all for keeping guns out of the hands of the insane and criminals, but to what extent? You cannot protect everyone from anyone including themselves.
Someone that is determined to cause as much destruction as possible needs to be held accountable for their actions. Stop blaming inanimate objects. However, it is much easier to blame something versus someone.
So the real reason behind this anti-gun movement is to control the people. If you can control the people, then you can do what you want, how you want, whenever you want, without any repercussions.
Now I could say stand up to the man, but that causes unnecessary conflict. Instead, determine what is the best course of action and vote those out of office that do not agree with your vision while you still can.
If you are wondering what I mean by that, well the constitution is only enforceable as long as people are willing to die for it. Once people do not care about the constitution, it will go away.
This is the same as the Bible and Christ. Are you willing to die for what is written in a book? Are you willing to die for Christ who died for you? This is a tough question because we value our life and really do not like pain.
You have to make a choice. Stand up for what you believe or go with the world.
