Just turn on the news and you will notice that so many people are angry at everything, but why? I believe it is due to deception. You should know who the greatest deceiver is, but if you do not, it is Satan.
I’ve blamed the media for spreading false information and while that is true, they are being used by the great deceiver. Satan has a plan to spread as much hatred as he can not only towards our fellow humans, but towards God as well.
But why do we believe his lies? That is a great question and one that can be answered easily. Satan disguises his lies among the truth so it appears as though he is speaking the true,.
2 Corinthians 11:14 English Standard Version (ESV)
14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
If Satan can achieve this, then he will have many people joining him in hell. Remember, Satan and all of his followers fates have already been decided way before any humans were ever created.
Now God will also send those who sin and do not seek salvation through Christ to hell as well for their disobedience. You may be upset at this and want to be angry with God, but this was not God’s plan in the beginning, so hell was not designed for us. He created us to be in His image, but we chose a path where we thought we were His equal.
Anger in it’s self is not sinful, but it how we handle it can be. This is where we need to recognize that we are being lied too and capture our thoughts before the take control.
Ephesians 4:26 English Standard Version (ESV)
26 Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger,
2 Corinthians 10:5 English Standard Version (ESV)
5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
It is easy to get angry and to act out in this state, but it takes real courage to decide that despite your anger, you are not going sin. If we do not control our anger, it will lead to hatred which will lead to our destruction. Most of the time we get angry because of our thoughts so I encourage you to capture your thoughts by focusing on God and taking your problems to God through prayer.
