People always ask why would a loving God send you to Hell? To me the answer is simple, because we have disobeyed Him, that is we have sinned. Our punishment for disobedience is death and spending life eternally in the Lake of Fire.
To me, Hell is actually a gift of love from God. It should be driving us to be saved because it should be scaring us to death, but for some reason it is not. People are under the impression that going to Hell is like going to Heaven, but you will be partying with the Devil all the time instead of being with God. This just is not true and if they ever read the Bible, they would know that Hell is a place where people are continually tormented. Furthermore, people think that they can do what they want and there should be no consequences for their actions like it is in our society today. However, that is just not how it works with God.
While God expects us to be perfect, He knows we cannot be. So out of His love for us, He sent His son to die for our sins on the cross so that we may have a chance to live eternally with both God and Christ. He did not send His son to just die for us, but to also show us how we should live.
So why does Hell exist? It is to show us what will happen if we do not repent and accept Christ as our Lord and Savior. The choice is yours, will you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior and follow His path or will you continue to think that it will be party time in Hell? I urge you to read the Bible to understand what will happen if you decide not to accept Christ and to follow His path.
