Sorry I took about two weeks off from posting. Not sure why. I guess I felt that some things were more important. The reality is that we need to always put God first.
I realize at times this is difficult. Life takes over and we feel like we have to do this thing or that and in the end God always takes a back seat. We feel that the earthly things since they are here and now are more important than God. Admit it, God is not number one in your life. I know that is true with me from time to time. Why?
My only guess is that God is not tangible. Work, Family, Vacation, Enjoyment, Relaxation to each of us is a tangible thing, but God is not. I just imagine what our lives would be like if each of us put God first. How would we treat others in life, how would our priorities change, how would our focus change, and how would we change?
I pray that each of us is able to change and put God first in our lives and I pray that we are able to recognize when we are not.
