I have heard people ask this question and have even provided my own comments about if Obama is a great President or not. Then the other day when Trump became President it hit me. It does not matter if we think he was a great President.
I am reminded of the Kings of Israel. There were 8 kings that did what was right in the eyes of the Lord and there were 32 that did evil. The question we should be asking is did Obama do what was right in the eyes of the Lord or did he do evil. It was our responsibility to pray that Obama would do what was right in the eyes of the Lord versus what was right in our eyes. If Obama did what was evil in the eyes of the Lord, I feel it is partially our fault. Did Obama lead us too or away from Jesus and God?
This is why I ask everyone whether you like or dislike Trump to pray for him because God placed him in power. Trump needs our prayers so he will hopefully do what is right in the eyes of the Lord.
