Doing what the Lord what’s can be challenging at times. Not because it is hard, but because sometimes we just aren’t sure what that is.
To often, we ask the Lord what He wants, but we do not wait to hear the response. Of course we have the Bible, but to me that is more about how we should live our life everyday versus the direction God wants us to take.
So why is trying to figure out what the Lord wants? Well we typically try to move way to fast and because we move super fast we think God should do the same, but God moves at His pace and He is always right on time. So do not get frustrated with the Lord when you do not get the answer when you think you should, but rather slow down and wait for the response.
To be honest I am not sure God has ever spoken too me, but then again I cannot say
He has not either. I am trying to slow down to hear the answer, but all too often my mind starts to drift.
If you are having the same problems as I in trying to get a response from the Lord, then ask Him to help you out. There are a lot of things I have asked Him to help me with and while all were not instataneous, He has helped me with all my requests.
So be thankful and be patient, it will happen if and only if it is God’s will for you.
