Why do I eat too much? I wish I knew the answer.
For the most part I eat decent, My breakfast typically consists of a smoothie with a banana, blueberries, kale, pineapple, protein powder, flax seed, chia seeds, yogurt, and water. I will eat an apple sometime during the day as well as an orange. Lunch is usually 1/2 cup or less rice, 3 to 4 ounces of meat and about a cup of vegetables. Dinner is usually about the same as lunch. I may have a handful of nuts or something else throughout the day. Finally I will typically drink about 1/2 to 1 gallon of water.
Then there are those days where I will eat an entire 10 or 12 inch pizza thinking oh this is good until about 30 to 40 minutes after I eat then I start to feel bad and swear that I will never do that again only to do it again in the near future. Why do I do this to myself? I want to be better about what I eat as it is the single most important aspect to losing weight.
Part of it is will power I am sure and the other part is am I really wanting to change? Heck no, I like food. But I need to make a decision to either change my eating habits and lose the weight or accept my current weight.
That is true about God. We either accept Him or we do not, but there is no middle of the road. God will not accept you and your sins. So choose.
I pray that whatever you are holding onto that you can let it go. God loves you and wants you to spend eternity with Him, but to do so, you have to go through His Son. Are you willing to change and accept, follow, invite, and obey Christ? It is hard, but only yo9u can make the choice, so choose.
