Do you take credit or do you give it to God? I use to take credit for those instances when brilliance would hit me and that proverbial light bulb would go off. At work I try to deflect when people say thanks for the information or help or whatever as I know it is not me, but the Lord. To avoid issues, I just typically ask them what they are referring too and then say that is my job as a consultant. However, lets be honest I am thinking thank you God for giving me the ability to grasp this material and to provide assistance where ever I can.
Matthew 11:25 New International Version (NIV)
The Father Revealed in the Son
25 At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.
I want the best product to go out to the market. It makes everyone’s life easier when companies use the regulations to ensure their products are compliant. Doing so may cost a little more up front, but in the end it will save them money and time. I am just thankful that God has placed me where He has to help out where ever I can.
Colossians 3:17 New International Version (NIV)
17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
I ask you, are you so arrogant that you take all the credit or are you a little more humble in your approach and thank God. I pray that you are able to put aside your pride and thank the Lord for your ability to understand what you do. I pray that you give all glory to God for whatever it is you are doing. In Jesus name I pray for this, Amen.
