Some people think that everything should be free. Recently a Socialist won the 14th congressional district. She ran on the hatred of capitalism. The Socialist party thinks that private ownership of a wide range of industries that are considered a necessity is wrong and wants workers or states to control them. So why would anyone ever start a business?
Socialism has never worked and will never work. When you basically want everyone to be the same, there is no incentive for people to work. Why should some go out and work to support others. Look at San Francisco.
In San Francisco, the minimum wage has skyrocket because everyone thinks they are entitled to what everyone else has and so has the cost of living. People are fleeing and restaurant owners are letting servers go because it is getting way to expensive. I have read some reports that restaurant owners are making the customers serve themselves. If they had to keep servers, then a 8 dollar hamburger would end up costing 20 dollars.
In a Socialist world, things fall a part very quickly. I am not saying capitalism is the answer, but capitalism has been around forever where as socialism falls apart in every country that tries to implement it. You can disagree with me all you want, but it is the truth. Look at the evidence.
God did not create all of us to be exactly the same. In fact, some people are rich, some are poor, some are tall, some are short, some are strong, some are weak, some are intelligent, and some are not. However, God loves each of us equally.
Furthermore, God did not ask you to sacrifice your life on the cross to be saved, but instead sent His son to die for your sins. How was that fair or equal. All you have to do is accept is what Christ did and change the way you live.
So if it is Socialism that people want, then we should all be treated equally and if we are all equal, then we need to pick our cross and be sacrificed as Christ was. If you are not willing to do that, then sit down, be quiet and accept that not everything is going to equal ever.
Here is what you should expect, that you will be loved no matter what. However, love does not mean that you get what you want when you want at the expense of others. Instead, you should be content as God has told us repeatedly in the Bible. This does not mean you cannot improve yourself, but you need to do it and stop expecting others to do it for you.
