It’s all God’s Fault

Our current society is taught that it is never their fault.  We blame companies for our bad decisions such as a child kills himself with the parent gun.  It is not the parents fault, but the fault of the company that manufactured the gun.

A person gets drunk and then gets behind the wheel and injures himself or someone else, but again it is not the fault of the person who got drunk.  Instead, it is the fault of the liquor or car manufacturer.

A person sticks hot coffee between their legs and then squeezes the coffee causing burns. This too is not the fault of the person, but the fault of the person who made the coffee or the manufacturer of the coffee maker.

Is it any wonder why when something bad happens that we automatically blame God.  A person makes a bad choice in life and everything is taken from them.  It could not possible be the persons fault, but it has to be Gods since there is no one else to blame.

God gave us freewill.  So when things happen, then we need to step up and take responsibility for our actions.

People say that God does not allow evil people to become rich or what have you.  That is not true.  God may not be please with how that person turned out and what they are doing with their life and the resources that God gave them, but that does not mean that God will interfere and ruin their lives.

God expects us to use our brains and the scripture He has already provided.  When we have no idea or things are completely out of our control, then we need to turn to Him.

Matthew 19:23-30 New International Version (NIV)

23 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”

26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

While this is mostly talking about the rich and how they act and their chances of getting into Heaven because they love money more than God, it is also applicable to many other scenarios.  We need to decide how we will use the freewill that God gave us.

If we choose to follow a path that we know is not Gods will for us, then it is our fault.  Do not go around and blame God for something you decided to do.

Start today by stepping up and making the correct choices.  If you are not sure what that is, then start with reading the Bible and praying to God for help.
