Mentally Challenged

I am not sure if it is 100% true, but I have noticed that those that appear to be somewhat mentally challenged are also some of the nicest people I have ever met.  Told my wife that I must then be a freaking genius.  We both chuckled and quickly went that is not the case.

What I was getting at is I am a fairly nice guy I think, but I can also be a nasty person or I can appear to be an angry person.  I do not think it is so much anger as much as it is frustration and disappointment as talked about earlier. This then comes out as me being angry and not a nice guy.

This leads me to the verse:

1 Corinthians 1:27 New International Version (NIV)

27 But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

Not that I think I am either wise or strong.  I am just thinking we could all take some lessons from those that might be considered mentally challenged and be nicer to each other and help where we can.

I pray that you can see yourself through the eyes of others to see if you are a nice person that helps or if you appear to be an angry mean person.  I pray that if you are an angry person, that you have the courage to change.  Change is hard, but with Gods help, anything is possible.  Do you want to change?.  Our goal is love others as Christ loved us and to spread the news about Christ. Can you do this? I pray that you are able to both change and love others. in Jesus name I ask, Amen!
