It is 1Jan2019 for me. When this posts, it may be 2Jan2019.
Since this is a new year, it is time for new things. One of those things is to try to listen to the Lord. I know He talks to each of us, but sometimes we are just so busy and our minds are so full of clutter that we cannot hear Him.
I like most others are very busy and I need to slow down and really make time for the Lord. I am sure I will never be like David, a man after God’s own heart, but that does not mean that I cannot strive for that.
I can only advise you to slow down in 2019. Let the world go by at its own pace and remember this one verse:
Romans 12:2 New International Version (NIV)
2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
