People talk about white privilege, especially white male privilege. At one time this may have been reality, but with affirmative action and a lot of other laws, this is no longer the case. In fact, there is more Black, Hispanic, and women privilege than white male privilege.
Now really ask yourself why does affirmative action exist? I will tell you it is because the Democrats thought you were incompetent and needed help getting a job because you could not do it on your own.
People then ask why are white males so rich then. Well when you are discriminated against from all sides. You have two choices, crawl into a corner and ball up and die or fight back by starting your own company. A lot of white men have started their own companies and this is the reason why many are rich.
Before you jump all over me and say that is not true, I have experienced discrimination simply for being a white male. I have applied for many jobs and I know of at least three times I was turned down after I was told that I was going to be hired or I was a very strong candidate simply because I was not the right color or gender. How do I know this, because I know people who were in positions of power and they flat out told me in confidence. They also know there was nothing I could do.
The reason all of this started was to get votes, not because people really cared about equality. Politicians, Democrats, thought if they could make this a hot topic, then they would come out in droves to vote them into office. Think about it, what have Democrats really done about equality other than stir the pot every few years to get you riled up against Republicans whom they claim are all about white privilege and particularly white male privilege. Don’t believe everything you read and accept it as truth, in fact do not believe this post, but rather go do your own research and come to your own conclusions.
So what does God say about privilege. Jesus said it best in the passage below:
John 15:18-25 New International Version (NIV)
The World Hates the Disciples
18 “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. 19 If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. 20 Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23 Whoever hates me hates my Father as well. 24 If I had not done among them the works no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin. As it is, they have seen, and yet they have hated both me and my Father. 25 But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: ‘They hated me without reason.’
Where is privilege or equality or fairness mentioned? It is not.
In the story of the talents, it is not about privilege or equality or fairness, but about a persons ability and not all of us have the same ability.
Matthew 25:14-30 English Standard Version (ESV)
The Parable of the Talents
14 “For it will be like a man going on a journey, who called his servants and entrusted to them his property. 15 To one he gave five talents, to another two, to another one, to each according to his ability. Then he went away. 16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he made five talents more. 17 So also he who had the two talents made two talents more. 18 But he who had received the one talent went and dug in the ground and hid his master’s money. 19 Now after a long time the master of those servants came and settled accounts with them. 20 And he who had received the five talents came forward, bringing five talents more, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me five talents; here, I have made five talents more.’ 21 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 22 And he also who had the two talents came forward, saying, ‘Master, you delivered to me two talents; here, I have made two talents more.’ 23 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 24 He also who had received the one talent came forward, saying, ‘Master, I knew you to be a hard man, reaping where you did not sow, and gathering where you scattered no seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. Here, you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master answered him, ‘You wicked and slothful servant! You knew that I reap where I have not sown and gather where I scattered no seed? 27 Then you ought to have invested my money with the bankers, and at my coming I should have received what was my own with interest. 28 So take the talent from him and give it to him who has the ten talents. 29 For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 30 And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’
God never claimed to be fair or to give privilege to only a select few. There are people who have sinned and are very very wealthy and there are those who are faithful and are very very poor. Be thankful that God is not fair because all of us would be going to Hell and be thankful that there is no privilege among anyone with regards to God because all can be saved regardless of whom you are. It comes down to your choice and which path you ultimately want to follow.
