When it rains it pours

I am sure you have heard the cliche “when it rains it pours.”  Well that seems to be the theme for me at the moment.

Finally got the sons car on the road and filled with refrigerant for the AC.  Now the car is making a squealing and grinding noise at the same time.  Also, as soon I leave, the suv will not start and apparently has no power.  Ugh!

Daughter wants a bed frame and shelving surround built but she leaves it to me for design, then starts to give me confusing direction as to how she really wants it after I send her plans.  Yes I had a specific plan in mind, but it is just that, a plan and it can change. Just tell me what you want!

My daughters room is a mess and needs to be cleared out and cleaned up as well as the molding finished. She comes back form her summer internship in about a month.

Need to clean out my stuff from the closet to get rid of clothes that I have not worn in about year or two.  Need to go through my dresser and do the same.

Need to get the basement done because it is driving me crazy.  It is one of the keys to getting the house organized and stuff is everywhere.  The shop is about 10% done and finally I got a plan, but that will have to wait until everything else is done.

The garden needs some tending, but not as much since my wife decided to weed it for me, Thank You!.  The tomato plants are on the ground and risk being eaten or becoming rotten.  Probably need to cut the lawn.

Need to get over to the church to finish up the aluminum siding as well as anything else that is needed.  The church grounds on one side and in the back is not great and needs some attention.

Isaiah 26:4 New International Version (NIV)

Trust in the Lord forever,
for the Lord, the Lord himself, is the Rock eternal.

I am just thankful that God is an eternal rock that is there in the tough times.  Sure there are those that like to blame the Lord for all of their problems, but instead of blaming Him, try praising Him in the good and bad times.  Because when it rains it pours and that is when you need both Christ and God to lean on.
