Everywhere you look there is government corruption. Sure you have those people who have grand ideas of making a difference, but in the end they either quit or they join the ranks of the corrupt.
When politicians make laws, it is never for our benefit, but theirs. They write laws where they cannot be arrested except for the most egregious of offenses. During the 90’s, the politicians took money that was not theirs in the forms of loans, then wrote laws that they could not be prosecuted for basically embezzling the money.
Then we have the Democrats who wanted Trump removed from office for no other reason than they do not like him because they cannot come to grips with the loss in 2016. They spent so much time, effort, and money on this impeachment process and where did it get them. Who got the money from all of this? How much money did this process cost the taxpayers?.
Is Trump a great president, no, but I do believe he is trying to get things done. Who is he getting them done for? Certainly not us, but for his own glory. Accomplishment is what some politicians fear the most because it means they would actually have to do something. They would rather take our money and do absolutely nothing.
Do not get me wrong, we can all be corrupted by certain temptations such as wealth, power, life, etc. However, there is one and only one that cannot be corrupted and that is Jesus. Satan tried many time to corrupt Jesus, but was unsuccessful.
Are you being tempted to commit corrupt acts? Do you even recognize the temptations that cause you life struggles? Do you even care if your are giving in to the temptations? If you want answers, then pray and be sincere because God will know.
