I know that at times I like to complain because things are not going the way I want. Take my job as I mentioned yesterday, I would rather be home with the family than on the road.

5 Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,
“Never will I leave you;
never will I forsake you.”
The main theme in all of these verses is to be content. All of us need this. So many of us want more. We want bigger, better, faster, louder, more powerful, more, more, more … This philosophy goes completely against God.
My main issue is being content in my situation. It is very hard for me to be content when all I want to do is be home near my family, but that is what God is calling me to do.
Lord please help me with this. I know that my attitude needs to change and that I need to be content with all things.
