Churches

Churches today are walking a very thin line. I say this not because I hate the churches, but because they are supposed to follow what God has said.

There are many things that the churches have decided is okay even though God has said they are wrong. Below are just a few things that God has said are wrong

  1. Homosexuality
  2. Sexual Immorality
  3. Stealing
  4. Lying
  5. Adultery
  6. Not honoring your father or your mother
  7. Being drunk in public
  8. Hands that shed innocent blood
  9. Pride
  10. Not forgiving
  11. False Witness
  12. A heart that devises wicked schemes
  13. One who stirs up conflict in the community
  14. Gossiping
  15. Putting other gods first

There are many more things that God has said are wrong, but I think or at least I hope you get the picture.

So why are the churches in trouble? Because they have come to accept the worldly view as gospel ignoring everything that God said do not do.

I will say that God also said love your neighbor as yourself and have you ever been to a church where you felt like an outside and they treated you like one as well? I have and it is not a welcoming place.

Now the argument might be if God has said all of those things are wrong and the Church is accepting them as they are, aren’t they then loving their neighbor as themselves? Yes, but you cannot commit a sin to say to something is right. If you have a question in how God is running things, then I suggest you take it up with Him. Furthermore, loving someone is not always accepting them as they are. Sometimes, love is a bit harsh in that they need to be told the truth. The fact is, God loves them, but that does not mean that God will allow them into Heaven as a sinner. For example, lets look as most parents in relation to their kids. Most parent love their kids, but that does not mean they will accept it when you do something wrong, in fact telling you that you did something wrong is love.

There is another part to loving your neighbor as yourself and it actually precedes it and that is love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and body. So we are to love God first which means doing what He says and then we love our neighbor as ourselves.

Now I am not going to say that I am not a sinner, I am. I have done and thought some things that God would never approve of, but that does not mean I should not repent.
