Find Hope

In today’s world which seems to have gone crazy, we need to find hope. But what does that actually mean?

Hope is the belief that a positive outcome will happen.  It is not a wishing for something.

From time to time we lose that belief and we need to find it again.  The only way to do that is through Jesus Christ.

Let’s see what the Bible has to say about finding hope.

Jeremiah 29:11 English Standard Version (ESV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Peace with God Through Faith

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

Christ has already won the victory for me.  He paid for my sins with His blood.  My hope lies with Him.
