In my opinion, just like Facebook, Twitter, Google, Apple, and Amazon, the media is evil. Do I mean left wing media or right wing media? I mean all media.
All media has one agenda and that is to make money through their ratings. So the left wing media will cater to what the left is thinking and the right wing media will cater to what the right is thinking.
Somewhere among all the media that is being presented is the truth. The question is are you willing to analyze what is being said, but more importantly what is not being said.
Media will use words that make you think they said what you thought they said when they did not say that. For example, homicide. What was the first thing that popped into your head? Was it murder in the 1st degree or something more heinous? How can it be more heinous than 1st degree? Well a lot of states now distinguish between 1st degree and capitol murder which I do not understand, but whatever. By the way homicide does not mean murder, it means one person has killed another and this could be criminal or non-criminal.
Today’s media leaves out little details letting you fill them in so you will not question their motives nor the detail they left out. When you fill in the data, then you agree with everything the media is saying. My family and I play a game called Chameleon and it is the goal of the Chameleon to fool everyone at the table. My son is a master at this game. He gets everyone to fill in what he means without ever saying a word. I have told them to stop doing that, but they do not listen. Just for the record, intentionally leaving out details is the same as lying since it is a tactic that is being used to deceive the public.
It use to be that the media just reported the information and gave you all the information so you the public can make an informed decision, but that is no longer the case. In today’s age, the media puts their opinion on everything because like I said before they have a narrative and this is to control and guide the public to what they want you to believe which improves their ratings and thus increases their revenue.
If you want the truth, stop listening to the media and instead open a book called the Bible. You will see everything you need because it contains the truth and it is not my truth or your truth, but God’s truth. This book will also tell you how to live.
Next pray to God and ask Him to show you the truth. I believe that if you honestly ask Him to show you the truth, He will, but it will be when He decides to share it with you. Sometimes we need to go through some hardships just so we wake up and it may be after or during that hardship season that God shows you the truth.
